DESCRIPTION
No mountain is too tall, no tunnel too mysterious, and no toy too boring for Skippyjon Jones, this little adventurer is ready for his greatest quest yet: finding his future home!
At just about four months old, Skippyjon Jones is full of personality, curiosity, and baby bunny charm. He can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places, but it doesn't take long for his adventurous spirit to shine through. Before you know it, he'll be happily hopping over to investigate a new toy, sample a tasty treat, or see what you're up to. Like his storybook namesake, Skippyjon approaches life with a big imagination and is always ready to discover what comes next.
Because Skippyjon Jones is still too young to be neutered (we generally complete rabbit neuters at 5-6 months of age), he is available through our Foster with Intent program. This means his future family will foster and care for him until he's old enough for his neuter surgery, which will be scheduled through the shelter, with the intention of officially adopting him afterward!
Skippyjon Jones may be adopted on his own or alongside one (or both!) of his bunny brothers. If two baby rabbits are adopted together, they'll need thoughtful monitoring as they grow, since hormones and maturity can sometimes change even the strongest baby friendships. Some brothers remain inseparable for life, while others decide they'd rather have neighboring kingdoms than share one. No matter what the future holds, we'll help guide adopters every hop of the way to ensure each bunny has the happiest ending possible.
**If you are interested in meeting any of our Story Book babies, please complete an Adopter Profile form at www.parl.org/adopt and come by to visit us during open adoption hours (Wed-Sun, 12-4pm)!**
