Hi, my name is Max! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Adventurous, Silly, Affectionate
-Can Live With Kids: Yes, lived with children in previous home.
-Experienced Rabbit Home: No experience required, just a loving home who has researched rabbits as a pet.
-Energy Level: Medium
-Can Live With Other Rabbits: Yes, Slow & Supervised Introductions.
-Litter Box Trained: Previous home states he is "somewhat potty trained"
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes a neuter and microchip.
-Additional information:
Max was recently surrendered when his family had to relocate and were unfortunately unable to take him along. While that transition has been a big change for him, Max has remained the tolerant, easygoing boy he’s always been. He has a calm and patient nature, making him a wonderful companion for a home that understands and appreciates rabbits.
As an adult rabbit, Max is past the baby stage and has settled into his personality. He enjoys a predictable routine, a cozy space to relax, and time to explore and stretch his legs. He handles new situations with quiet curiosity and has proven to be a resilient little guy. With gentle interaction and a bit of patience while he adjusts, Max is sure to blossom in his new environment.
Max will need a nice roomy cage with daily exercise. My diet should consist of unlimited grass hay, high quality rabbit pellets, and fresh greens daily. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
