Squid is a sweet boy and is currently in a foster home. His foster family says: "Squid is a shy rabbit who is slowly coming out of his shell. He now lets me pet him, and he shows his affection by licking my legs. He is a mellow bunny, who occasionally does his zoomies and binkies when given free space to run around. Most of the time, he is sitting or hiding under paper tunnels, sometimes munching on hay in his litter box. He does not have a tendency to chew on things. His timid nature may make him more suited for a quiet environment.
He is a very tidy rabbit who uses his litter box fastidiously both inside and outside of his pen. He does like to rearrange the position of his litter box and would sometimes move it away from the corner. But there is nary a piece of poop outside of the litter box.
Squid enjoys eating, and can eat a lot of hay in a day. He loves all veggies and is not picky with any veggies that I have offered him, although carrots are clearly his favorite. He enjoys apple, Oxbow treats and his pellets." Squid has done well on speed dates and we think he would like a rabbit friend.
Squid is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year.
