Hi! I’m Coconut Butter!

I’m one half of a bonded pair—my sister, Pecan, is my perfect match, and we’re looking for a home together. I fully admit I have places to be and things to do. Life is exciting, and I plan to experience ALL of it! I’m curious about everything, always ready to investigate, and especially enthusiastic when it comes to trying new foods. Got a new veggie for me? Don’t mind if I do. And if you happen to whisper the word “banana”... I will be there immediately.

I’m a young bunny, which means my schedule is packed with zoomies, binkies, toy time, and more zoomies. I love playing with all my bunny-safe toys, and I don’t believe in being bored. Sitting still? Not really my thing. But if you meet me on the floor and let me come to you, I might bless you with some snuggles and pets—on my terms, of course.

I tolerate humans just fine, but honestly? I adore my sister. That’s where my heart is. If you’re patient and let me be myself, I’ll show you my sweet side in my own way.

I’ve had a little exposure to dogs and may do okay with slow introductions. I’m generally well-mannered, but I am an active, curious bun—so a bunny-proofed space is important to keep me safe while I go about my important business (zooming, exploring, snacking... you know, the essentials).

Speaking of snacks, I’m a big fan of timothy hay, my daily pellets, and fresh salads—lettuce, parsley, cilantro... yes please! I share a lot of tastes with my sister, and we make an excellent dining team.

So if you’re ready for double the personality, double the energy, and double the love, my sister and I are ready to hop into your life.

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
