This adorable little Shorkie (Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix) boy is a breeder release puppy who's finally getting the chance to just be a happy, loved little dog. After a rough beginning, he's now safe and discovering how fun life can be and his sweet, playful spirit is already shining through.
Like many breeder release pups, he may need a little patience as he learns the ropes of living in a home things like routines, socialization, and basic training are all new adventures for him. But he's curious, affectionate, and eager to bond with his people as he grows more confident every day.
He's the perfect mix of snuggly and silly, happy to play, explore, and then curl up close once he feels safe.
A Few Important Notes:
Adoption Area: We only adopt to families living in Illinois, Wisconsin, or states that directly border either IL or WI.
Renters: If you rent, please have your landlord contact us directly at mallorytsherwood@gmail.com to confirm that dogs are allowed in your home.
Adoption Fee: $800, which includes microchip, current vaccines and boosters, deworming, and spay/neuter at our rescue vet.
Using Your Own Vet: If you prefer to complete the spay/neuter with your own vet, we'll reimburse $100 once proof of procedure is provided. This must be done before 6 months of age, and adopters will sign a contract agreeing to this.
