Rory - Yorkshire Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption

Meet Rory!

Rory is a 7 month old, 12 pound silly little cuddle bug. This Yorkie mix loves more than sitting on your lap and getting pets- she'll wiggleworm her way on top of you with her little body and put her tiny paw on your hand in order to achieve her goal of continued affection.

Rory is very social- she's learning to walk nicely on leash while wanting to stop and say a gentle hello to almost every person she passes. She's sweet and gentle when approaching other dogs, and is learning to communicate very nicely. She's starting to get more playful, loving carrying around a toy, but hasn't started playing with other dogs yet- her playfulness will grow with an adopter to foster it!

She's settling down in her crate after 10 min of adorable little yodels and then is happy to sleep 10 hours through the night. She loves food and treats and wants to do the right thing once she knows what it is.

She's been really gentle, sweet and slow moving with kids and doesn't let much phase her (storms, construction noise, bikes, dog barking, etc)- she's a plucky little thing. Anyone would be lucky to add her to their family- she's about as close to perfect as a 7 month old puppy can be!

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
