🐾Meet Ozzie!
He is a 7 yo, 9 lb Yorkshire terrier. 
He is an owner/breeder surrender.
His foster family shared that when he first arrived at their home, he slept for three days straight. Once he felt safe, his true personality began to shine! He is a steady, calm, sweet little dog who thrives on connection and routine.
He is learning sit, wait, and touch, walks nicely on leash, enjoys car rides, and loves to sit quietly in his carrier.
He has been great about potting outside and has adjusted beautifully to living with multiple new dogs, even tolerating a young puppy!
He sleeps at night in his crate next to his foster family’s bed, though he prefers not to be crated during the day.
With his person, he completely relaxes and happily “melts” into your lap, but he is also content sleeping in his dog bed. He is comfortable and appropriate around strangers.
Ozzie would do best in a calm home where he can stay close to his person. If you leave the room, he will come looking for you. He would love people who wants to take him along wherever they go, or someone who is home during the day and hoping for a devoted little shadow! He would especially enjoy a home with another friendly dog, as he came from a multi-dog environment and seems to appreciate that companionship.
