Meet Lulu!

If you're looking for a devoted little companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Lulu may be your girl! This sweet, gentle little dog is a true Velcro companion. Once she bonds with her person, she follows them everywhere and loves nothing more than curling up beside them for some quiet cuddle time.

You'll want to check behind you before turning around because Lulu is likely to be following close behind! She even sits patiently on the floor outside the bathroom waiting for her person.

Lulu absolutely loves to snuggle on the couch and is happiest simply being with her person. She also enjoys relaxing outside, especially when she can sit beside you while you enjoy your morning coffee.

She is quiet and doesn't bark, and she does wonderfully in her crate. She settles in around 10 p.m. and sleeps peacefully until about 7 a.m. She is also making good progress with house training. She has had a couple of accidents, but they have been right by the back door on the pee pad. She is still learning that her new home doesn't have a doggy door and that she needs to wait to be taken outside.

Lulu is very timid and startles easily, so she will do best with a patient, gentle person who will give her time to build confidence. Once she attaches to you, though, you'll have a devoted little shadow who simply wants to be near you and shower you with love.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
