Mavis is a five-year-old Yorkie who had a rough start to life. After living in a home with over 40 other animals, she needed a good shave-down and bath—but now she’s thriving in her foster home.

Sweet little Mavis will absolutely melt your heart. Now that she’s no longer living in chaos, she is perfectly content curling up on the couch for long naps and soaking up the calm, cozy life she deserves.

She doesn’t seem very interested in toys, but she loves spending time with her people and her new doggie friends. At night, she sleeps soundly in bed cuddled up next to her foster mom’s head—with no potty accidents. During the day, she’s still working on perfecting her potty training and continuing to learn her routine.

Mavis does very well in her playpen when her foster parents are at work and has been adjusting beautifully to life in a loving home.

Mavis is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on vaccines, and she’s ready to find a forever family who will continue to give her the love and comfort she’s just beginning to experience.
