Chewy is an adorable 5 year old Yorkie Terrier mix who is ready to trade his stray days for a loving forever home. This sweet boy has already stolen our hearts with his big eyes, playful spirit, and affectionate personality.



Chewy is neutered, microchipped, and learning all the good dog skills. He already knows sit, lay down, and fetch, and because he's very treat motivated, he enjoys learning new things. He's currently working on house training and practicing the “quiet” command, since he sometimes barks to ask for attention.



Playtime is Chewy's favorite time! He loves toys and playing fetch, and while he can get a little enthusiastic during play, it's all part of his fun-loving personality. Because of this, he would likely love having another playful dog companion in the home.



When he's not playing, Chewy is a total sweetheart who enjoys being close to his people. He's also great for grooming — easy to brush and trim his nails, which makes caring for him a breeze. Chewy also does well on car rides, so he'll happily tag along for errands or adventures.



Chewy has come a long way since being found as a stray, and now he's just waiting for a family who will give him the love and stability he deserves.
