Tucker is a 10-pound Yorkshire Terrier with a big personality packed into a tiny body. He’s a happy little ball of energy who loves going for walks and is always up for an adventure.

His absolute favorite thing? Car rides! Tucker loves riding along and watching the world go by from the window — he’s the perfect co-pilot for errands or road trips.

Tucker is both dog-friendly and cat-friendly, making him a great fit for a variety of homes. He has also completed training with Curbed Behaviors, and his adopters would have the option to continue or update his training there if they’d like.

He’s also earned his Hounds Town Seal of Approval. This means he has passed a temperament test with another dog and successfully integrated into a pack of new dogs over the course of a week.

Because of his typical Yorkie traits and lively personality, Tucker would do best in a home familiar with the Yorkshire Terrier breed and their needs.

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.

*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.

*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.

*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

*All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
