Meet Benny!

Benny is an adorable 1-2 year‑old Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix weighing just 7.5 pounds. This tiny guy has a big personality—he’s friendly, playful, and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes.

Benny is a certified cuddle bug who loves being close to his humans. He’s nearly 100% potty trained, crate trained, and also potty‑pad trained. When new people arrive, he may be vocal at first, but it’s only because he’s excited and wants to say hello.

Whether he’s curled up on the couch or running around with his doggy buddies, Benny is happy as long as he’s near someone he loves. He enjoys stuffed toys, is easy to handle, and truly as sweet as he is adorable.

Benny loves cuddles and being carried, so he'd do well with an owner who enjoys attention.

Benny responds well to positive reinforcement and affection....This precious boy is ready for his forever home!

NOTE: THIS IS AN "OUT OF TOWN PET" - that means Benny is not at this location but we do have transport here - more about transport below. Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston.

Currently he's being fostered near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
