Yorkshire Terrier and Cairn Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Cricket is about a year old and weighs 13 lbs. He was very shy when he first came to our shelter but he has warmed up to us with time. He is a sweet and gentle boy. He came from a home with other dogs so would probably do well in a home with another friendly dog. He is a scruffy little guy so we think he is some sort of terrier mix.

The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as Yorkie, is a small and glamorous toy dog breed known for its long, flowing coat and spirited personality. Originating from England, these affectionate and intelligent dogs make wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. With a weight of around 7 pounds, Yorkies are portable and adaptable, thriving in both city apartments and rural settings. Despite their small size, they possess a bold and confident nature, always ready for fun and adventure.
