Milo is 72 pounds of a dapper, distinguished gentleman He forms loving bonds and is proving to be a very loyal good boy. And he is so smart! Before reading any further, the first step in adopting Milo is to email us at pets@michianapets.org for an application! Okay, now onto more awesome things about Milo!

Let's chat about his manners. Milo knows how to sit. He takes treats respectfully, too! He is learning how to lay down and he is quite attentive during training sessions! He watches what his handler is doing and is eager to please

Here's what we think about Milo's ideal home:

We'd love to see him with someone who has had experience helping under-socialized, shy, anxious dogs come out of their shells. We have already seen Milo's confidence build since being at the shelter! A quiet home with people who want him to thrive and succeed would be the best ever

At the shelter, Milo has shown positive behavior so far when meeting other dogs. We'd still like to observe him around a few more to get a better idea of his preferences. He was relatively neutral around shelter kitties so may do well with a proper introduction! Kiddos in the home should be about 8ish and older Milo is about two years old and is neutered
