My dearest reader,

Pray allow me to introduce myself—Colin, at your service.

A young gentleman of nearly five months (I shall reach this distinguished age on the 24th of March), I daresay I possess both charm and a most affectionate disposition. I am well-versed in the art of proper conduct within my quarters, resting dutifully in my crate through the night.

Though, if you should remain nearby, I may offer a small protest—purely out of a desire for your esteemed company, you understand.

What is a gentleman without companionship? I have made admirable progress in my household manners and am, for the most part, quite reliable in attending to my business out of doors. Still, I humbly request a vigilant host, as the occasional mishap may occur should I not be granted timely passage outside. In matters of society, I have proven myself agreeable.

I reside presently among cats and have grown quite accustomed to their peculiar ways. Other dogs are likewise tolerable company, though I confess I do not depend upon them for amusement. My true delight lies in my toys and, most especially, in the presence of my chosen human.

I am exceedingly fond of culinary rewards, which has made me a most diligent pupil—I have already mastered the command to “sit,” and would gladly expand my education under the guidance of a generous tutor (particularly one in possession of treats).

Should you be in search of a loyal companion, one with a playful spirit, a tender heart, and just a hint of Regency refinement, I dare say I would suit the role splendidly.
