Meet Flaka, a sweet 1-year-old Mexican Hairless mix with a heart of gold! This spayed and UTD on shots cutie is house trained, uses the doggy door, and is mastering leash skills. She's a velvet-skin lover, craving belly rubs and kisses, and has claimed her foster mom's recliner as her own 😊. She likes stuffed animal toys

Flaka's a gentle soul who gets along with small dogs but needs work on meeting new people and facing new situations. Her past was a bit ruffled with 12 furry siblings and not much socialization, so she's looking for a patient family to help her bloom. Flaka would be just fine being the only dog as she ignores her fosters small dogs. She will need a fenced in yard to run around in.

This smart cookie knows "no" and rides like a pro in the car. She'll thrive on a mix of dry kibble and canned food (teaspoonful, please!). If you're ready to offer love, patience, and time, Flaka's ready to be your loyal companion.



An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
