DESCRIPTION

Oh hi there, I am Fidget. I am four years old, twenty six pounds of scruffy sweetness, and I have been told I look like an adorable little gremlin. The cute kind, of course.

I was found as a stray, just out there making my own way in the world. I did what I had to do, but if I am being honest, I would much rather make my way straight into your heart and onto your couch. I have discovered that soft beds and kind humans are much better than wandering around on my own.

I get along well with other dogs, so if you already have a pup at home, I would be happy to join the pack. I enjoy having friends and I tested well with my fellow canines. Cats, though, well, let us just say I find them very interesting. A little too interesting. So a home without those mysterious whiskered creatures would probably be best for me, however if a slow introduction is given, maybe we can give it a shot?

I am working on my leash skills. Sometimes I get excited and forget that we are supposed to walk together in a nice straight line. I might zig and zag like I am tracking secret treasure. But I am a smart girl and I already know my basic commands. With a little patience and consistency, I will be your star pupil. I truly want to make my people proud.

At the end of the day, I am a sweet, spunky girl who just wants to belong. I will greet you with bright eyes and a happy tail, I will make you smile with my goofy expressions, and I will curl up close when it is time to relax. If you are looking for a loyal little sidekick with a scruffy face and a big heart, I am your girl.

Fidget's adoption fee is $275. You can learn more about Fidget and other dogs at Happy Bark by visiting www.happybark.org
