What we know: Litter was transferred to Colorado Puppy Rescue from Furever Friends of Grant County (Kansas). Per partner notes, the puppies originated from a hoarding situation in Oklahoma involving 13 dogs total in the home. CPR took 12 dogs from the situation, with 1 dog placed elsewhere. Puppies are approximately 8 months old, estimated 20-30 lbs, and arrived fixed and up to date on vaccines.

From the foster: Minnie is a very sensitive puppy who is still learning how to feel safe in the world. She is quite nervous, and when she feels overwhelmed or approached too quickly, she has growled out of fear. This is her way of communicating that she needs space, patience, and time to build trust.

With calm energy, slow movements, and positive reinforcement (especially yummy treats), Minnie begins to relax and show glimpses of her gentle nature. She has incredible potential and will do best in a quiet, experienced home that understands fear-based behaviors and is committed to helping her build confidence through consistency, gentle structure, and compassion.

Minnie is looking for someone who can see beyond her fear and invest in who she can become. With patience and the right environment, she has every opportunity to grow into a loving and devoted companion.
