DESCRIPTION

Pretty as a poppy and just as sweet — that’s me, blooming right before your eyes. I’m Poppy, a 12 week old Wirehaired Terrier weighing 7.6 pounds (for now!) and growing a bit more every day. I may be tiny, but my heart is huge and full of love to give. If you’re looking for a laid-back, super snuggly best friend, I’m ready to curl right up in your arms and stay there as long as you’ll let me. I’m already doing great in my crate — it’s my cozy little flowerpot where I rest up after a day of being adorable. I’m working on my house training and leash skills, and with plenty of walks and a little patience, I’ll be strolling beside you like a pro. I’m still a baby, after all, but I’m a smart girl and eager to learn. I get along beautifully with other dogs, I’m respectful of cats, and I’d likely do just fine with kids too. Whether you live in a house with a yard or an apartment in the city, I can happily make myself at home. My easygoing nature means I’d probably fit in just about anywhere — as long as I get to be near my people. Because that’s my favorite thing: being with you. I love companionship, gentle cuddles, and simply sharing space with the humans I adore. I’m the kind of pup who will follow you from room to room, settle at your feet, and then climb into your lap when it’s time to relax. If you’re ready for a little blossom who will brighten your days and fill your home with warmth, I’m ready to grow right by your side.

**As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out**

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*

**Rescue One is unable to provide an exact prediction of how big or small your rescue puppy will become when full grown. Any approximation provided is no guarantee.**

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
