Meet Cricket ... 7 pounds of love with a gentle heart

Cricket is a 6-year-old Chihuahua who has overcome so much and is now ready for a forever home of her own. She came to us needing major medical care, including an extensive hernia repair and an enucleation (eye removal). Cricket has successfully completed surgery, recovery, dental care, and all routine vetting—and she’s feeling great and ready to find a love of her own!

This sweet girl is calm, low-key, and affectionate. Like many Chihuahuas, Cricket can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she happily seeks out attention. Belly rubs are her favorite, and she’ll often roll right over to ask for them. She truly appreciates the simple things in life: a cozy place to rest, gentle companionship, and being near her people.

Cricket is currently fostered in Evans, GA, but thanks to our transport program, she is available for adoption throughout much of the United States.
