Whippet and Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Fairfield, Connecticut

Hi there, I’m Hannah, a pretty brindle 6-month-old, 19 lb Whippet/Pitbull mix, lean and leggy, saved from a “kill shelter” in Port Lavaca, Texas. Thankfully, someone reached out to 4 Little Paws Rescue just before my euthanasia date since the shelter was closing for remodeling, and all dogs were set to “go.” Now, safe and sound in a foster home in San Antonio, I am getting ready for adoption, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and happy, and looking forward to being someone's forever dog!

My foster mom says I’m a sweetheart, friendly and outgoing, and I love everyone! No shyness here, I greet everyone with a wagging tail, a smile on my face, and a song in my heart, LOL! I love to play, and I have an adorable skip/jump maneuver when prancing after my toys so I can bring them to you… sometimes… still learning how fetch works. Looking for snuggles and kisses, I'm your girl. I am also a foodie, eating anything offered, including pumpkin, apple, carrots, sugar snap peas, and even broccoli! I am a good girl, not destructive, walk well on a leash, and I’m relaxed in a car, making me an excellent travel companion.
