LIZZIE is an absolutely adorable little girl looking for love. She's a gorgeous mixed breed sweetheart who loves people. Lizzie appears to be part sight hound, maybe Whippet? Part Beagle? And heaven only knows what other breeds are in the mix. She's a leggy, high-waisted girl, fully grown at just 28 pounds but a little too thin, she could stand to add 2-3 pounds. It should be easy to add some weight to Lizzie, she's definitely a food enthusiast. Meal time and treat time are two of her favorite times. Lizzie is right around 1 year old and so eager for love. She needs some work on her manners but she's so eager to please and food motivated so training her should be fun! Lizzie is dog friendly and loves to play. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Lizzie at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30-1:30 at PetSmart Eastgate.
Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
