SARAH BELLE SUNSHINE

West Highland White Terrier Westie, Maltese
🇺🇸
Friendswood, Texas
April 8th

DESCRIPTION

Sarah is the kind of dog who quietly wins your heart and then keeps it with her gentle, loving nature. About 2 years old and a sweet Westie-Maltese mix, she has the perfect blend of playful energy and soft, cuddly affection. With her adorable looks and even sweeter personality, Sarah is the type of dog who makes every day feel a little brighter just by being herself.

At her core, Sarah is incredibly loving and affectionate. Once she feels comfortable, she truly blossoms into a cuddle-loving companion who enjoys being close to her people. She loves attention and will happily soak up pets, leaning in for love and enjoying every gentle moment. Sarah has a soft, tender way about her that makes her incredibly endearing—you can just tell she wants to bond and be part of a loving home.

Sarah is also a playful girl with a happy spirit. She’s currently in a foster home where she lives with multiple other dogs, and she enjoys playing and interacting with them. She has a fun, social side and loves having opportunities to run, play, and engage with her dog friends. Whether it’s a playful romp or a shared moment of companionship, Sarah enjoys being part of the group and having a good time.

While Sarah is playful and affectionate, she can be a bit shy when first meeting new people or experiencing new environments. New places can feel overwhelming at first, and she may need a little time to feel safe and confident. But the beautiful thing about Sarah is how quickly she comes out of her shell. With patience, kindness, and a calm approach, she opens up and reveals her true personality—sweet, loving, and eager to connect. Once she trusts you, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion who just wants to be close and share love.

Sarah’s gentle and adaptable nature makes her a wonderful candidate for a patient and loving home. She will thrive in an environment where she can take things at her own pace, build trust, and feel secure. In return, she will reward you with loyalty, affection, and a deep bond that only grows stronger over time.

She is a happy dog who enjoys life, enjoys her surroundings once she is comfortable, and truly enjoys being loved. Sarah is the kind of dog who will bring warmth into your home with her gentle personality and her soft, loving presence. She’s not just looking for a place to live—she’s looking for someone to love her and give her the chance to feel safe, secure, and cherished.

If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, playful companion who just needs a little time to shine, Sarah is ready to meet you. With her soft heart and loving spirit, she has all the makings of a truly special best friend.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
