6-year-old Female Blue Weimaraner ~65 lbs

Millie is a beautiful, intelligent blue Weimaraner who has truly blossomed in foster care. With the right structure, patience, and support, she has gained confidence, learned to trust again, and is now thriving socially with other dogs and her people.

Millie does best when introductions are slow and respectful. She is selective with her people and needs time to warm up, but once she feels safe, she becomes a loyal, affectionate, Velcro-style companion who loves being near her person. She enjoys snuggling, daily walks, car rides, and playtime with dogs she's comfortable with.

One of Millie's biggest growth areas has been socialization. She now confidently interacts with dogs of all sizes and personalities and enjoys having an active canine social life. Watching her seek out new dogs with comfort and curiosity has been an incredible transformation.

Millie would thrive in a calm, adult-only home with a patient adopter who understands dog body language and is willing to continue building trust at her pace. A home with another respectful, non-pushy dog could be a great fit, but she could also do well as an only dog with proper outlets and companionship. She is not suitable for homes with children.
