Faith is the definition of a gentle soul.

This beautiful 4-year-old blue Weimaraner weighs 67 pounds and is an easygoing, low-maintenance girl who simply wants to feel safe and loved. She has settled beautifully into her foster home and has quickly mastered the art of claiming the coziest spot on the couch (and the bed!).

Faith is fully housebroken when kept on a routine. She may pace when she needs to go out, but with regular potty breaks she does great. She walks nicely on a gentle lead harness and responds well to commands. She enjoys her walks but is otherwise fairly laid-back and calm inside the home.

She is wonderful with other dogs and has been great with animals she's met. Her submissive nature makes her an easy addition to a multi-dog household, and a confident canine companion could help continue building her confidence.

Faith is incredibly loving and affectionate. She does have a mild mouthing habit when she's feeling playful or unsure -- it is not aggressive, and she is learning quickly with correction -- but because of this, she would likely do best in a home with older children rather than very young kids.

She can be unsure around some new people and may bark cautiously at first. This is not aggression -- she simply was not well socialized earlier in life. With patience, reassurance, and positive experiences, she continues to grow more confident every day.

Faith knows how to be calm indoors and playful outside. She may not always know how to "play" with humans yet, but she absolutely knows how to love them.
