Meet Sadie Golden, a 3-year-old Weimaraner / Lab / Bulldog mix, weighing 75 pounds (as of 2/15/26). This girl's owner in Tennessee unfortunately passed away so she's looking for a fur-ever family. She'll love you, care for you and never judge your choices! Just kidding. She'll definitely judge, but she'll still love you!

Sadie is a calm, gentle soul with the sweetest, easygoing personality. She was lovingly raised and it shows in her beautiful manners and well-rounded temperament. Be warned dogs, cats, and kids of all ages will immediately ignore you and flock to her! Don't be offended though. Not everyone can have the charisma she has. She’s friendly, kind and patient with everyone she meets.

This Southern belle is wonderfully socialized and transitions easily into new situations. She doesn’t stress easily and approaches life with a quiet confidence that she hopes to teach her future owner. Take life by the paws! Just like Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Sadie is happiest being part of your world whether that's relaxing after a long day or going on a hike with your work crush! She does has occasional, appropriate bursts of playful energy, but overall she’s content to chill and enjoy the moment.

Sadie is crate trained, leash trained and house trained - the perfect trifecta! She might not know commands, but she'll help with your anxiety which some would say is better. Free therapy in this economy?! You got a deal, friend.

If you’re looking for a steady, loving companion who will slide right into your home and heart, Sadie is your girl!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

To adopt or learn more about Sadie Golden, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $495] **

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
