For months, Fred sat in a shelter with all of his siblings, waiting and waiting while the clock counted down toward a euthanasia date. In that loud, stressful place, no one could see the amazing dog hiding inside him… but wow, were they wrong.

Once Fred got his chance, he showed everyone exactly who he is — one of the most trainable, hard-working, and lovable dogs you could ever meet 🐶💪. Fred truly wants to make his people proud and thrives when he’s learning, playing, and being part of the family.

And people? Oh my goodness, they are Fred’s favorite thing ever 🥰
Kids? Even more his favorite 👧🧒❤️ He lights up around them and would happily soak up their love and attention all day long.

Fred would also love a playmate 🐕—big or small, he doesn’t mind! Having a buddy to run around with would make his world even better.

But when playtime is over, Fred’s true talent appears: professional couch cuddler 🛋️🐾. His absolute favorite thing is curling up next to his people, getting pets, and being shown all the love and attention in the world.
