Ford is built for the woods and wide-open air… not concrete kennels and echoing barks. Right now this sweet hound is waiting for someone to open a door and change his story.

Ford is a 3–5 year old male Treeing Walker Coonhound who came into Animal Control as a stray. Shelter life is very hard on him, and he is hoping to find a loving home where he can relax and finally feel safe.

Ford has a wonderful temperament and absolutely loves people. He greets everyone with a friendly, gentle nature and would thrive in a home where he can spend time with his humans. He is dog friendly, and cats are currently unknown.

Right now Ford is very thin, but with proper nutrition and care he should reach a healthy weight of 70+ pounds. Once he fills out, he will be a big, handsome hound.

Ford will be fully vetted before going to his new home.
