Sweet Potato got his name because, well...he's sweet! He came to us from a nearby shelter where they were out of space and he was out of time. He is approximately 3 years old, good with other dogs, and he loves to go for walks! We took one look at his handsome face and KNEW that he was just a sweet, mushy sweet potato that deserved another chance. If you know hounds, you know...they love to use their noses, give tons of awkward long legged cuddles, and sing! Sweet Potato is a really wonderful dog but isn't necessarily the kind of dog who makes you stop in your tracks and say, "wow!", so he has had a hard time getting noticed. He has been patiently waiting now for over a month and has been nothing but sweet, gentle, and goofy. PLEASE give him the home he deserves!
