Personality & Story:
Fiona is a lively, affectionate little girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Rescued through our partners and looking for her forever family, Fiona is the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet cuddles.

Before rescue, Fiona was sadly abandoned outside a store, where she spent her days begging for food from anyone who would notice her. Despite that difficult start, Fiona has remained incredibly loving and trusting of people.

Her personality is often described as playful like girl but gentle and docile like a Labrador. She absolutely loves to run, play, and explore, but when the fun is done, she’s just as happy curling up beside her people for cuddles and affection.

Training & Home Life:
Fiona has a great start to her training and is both house-trained and crate-trained, comfortably fitting in a medium (30”) crate. She has been living both indoors and outdoors in foster care, adjusting well to home life.

Fiona does best with companionship and activity. She prefers not to be left alone for long periods and would likely thrive in a home with another playful dog to keep her company.

Health:
Fiona is spayed and weighs approximately 28.6 lbs. She is up to date on deworming and preventatives.

Her heartworm test came back positive, which is very common for dogs rescued from certain regions. The good news is heartworm is treatable, and our rescue will provide guidance regarding treatment needed for Fiona.
