Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Hi, my name is Winnifred. A am a 2yo, 45lb, athletic, kid and dog friendly pit mix. I’m looking for an active household to take care of me.

I am not very interested in other dogs, or people, but I certainly love squirrels, bunnies and moles. A am very strong, but also very good at learning. My friends tell me I am an absolute keeper and have the most beautiful black and white coat and some say I look like the Riddler with black patches on my eyes!

When you first get to know me, I may seem a bit excitable, but a few brisk walks daily along with special time with my person is all I need to work out any excess energy. Sometimes I get a bit nervous when my person leaves the room, but I quickly will acclimate to my surroundings and respond instantly and quite favorably to positive affirmations and praise.

I am currently crate training and am very proud to report I have become potty trained in less than a week through positive reinforcement.

I have no current health issues, my coat is ideal, my teeth are clean, and I love going to the beauty salon to get my nails done. I hope that you will reach out to my foster to learn more about me and I am really excited to meet you.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Winnefred’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
