Arba is a sweet, 13-year-old mixed breed pup who is looking for a place to call home as she finishes up her senior years. Dumped at a kill shelter with orders from the owner to be destroyed, Arba's perky face and sweet spirit made people in charge say no way. This dog deserves way better than that.

Arba appears to be deaf. Vision is fairly diminished. Smell is fantastic, especially if you are baking peanut butter cookies. Then she will find you and tell you all about what a starving puppy she is and how badly she needs peanut butter.

Arba will want to sleep in a crate next to you at night. It makes her feel safe. She wants to know where you are almost all the time but is pretty good seeking you out. Else, she will bark to let you know she is lost. Arba is potty trained. Arba does have a cough from time to time during the day and a few times at night. The vet has just started her on a med to ease any potential immflamation in her trachea. If the cough persists after that, then it's just an old lady kind of thing.

That's pretty much Arba. Lovely little lady who spends some time here and there during the day walking around checking things out and then the rest of the time, taking naps. She is not adverse to treats during the day either. Arba wanted to be sure I included that last line.
