Sweetheart - there's truly no better word to describe Patches. She is beautiful inside and out. This calm and gentle girl is friendly, cuddly, loving, and wonderfully well mannered-really the whole package. Patches rarely barks, waits politely for her meals and treats (even when the other dogs are losing their minds), and gets along beautifully with everyone she meets. She instantly befriended both the big dogs and the puppy in her foster home, and she greets every new person like a long lost friend.

Patches enjoys her walks, chasing a ball, and exploring the yard, but her absolute favorite thing in the world is simply being with her person. Her happiest moments are spent snuggled up beside you; add a little petting or a belly rub, and she melts into pure bliss. Being around her has a way of making you feel calmer and happier too.

Patches does well in her crate, but after just a few days in her foster home, she earned the freedom to roam for over four hours while no one was home. She didn't get into anything she shouldn't and had no potty accidents-a perfect little lady. At night, she prefers to sleep with or near someone rather than in her crate, and she snoozes peacefully until morning (usually when you get up).
