Hi, I’m Fisher — a 2-year-old Terrier mix weighing about 25 pounds, which makes me the perfect small-to-medium size for couch cuddles and backyard zoomies.
If you’re looking for a true velcro dog, I’m your guy. I absolutely love my people and want to be wherever you are. I’m friendly when meeting new humans and quickly decide they’re my newest best friend. My favorite hobbies include cuddling, napping, and getting very excited about dinner time.
I have a moderate energy level. I sleep through the night, relax nicely during the day, and enjoy playful bursts of fun. When I get going, I can be a little rambunctious — I just get excited! Because of that, I’d do best with sturdy playmates and possibly older kids who won’t mind my enthusiastic zoomies. I love other playful dogs and would thrive with a sibling my size or bigger. That said, I could also be happy as an only dog as long as I get plenty of attention — being close to my person is truly my favorite thing.
I’m doing very well with potty training and haven’t had an accident in quite a while. I sleep in bed with my fosters at night (naturally), and I’m crated during the day while they’re away just to keep me safe since I’m still young. As I mature, I’ll likely earn more freedom — I just want to make you proud.
When the weather is nice, I enjoy spending time outside. A backyard would be wonderful, but what matters most to me is a home where I’m loved, included, and part of the family.
