Happy is just that, a happy dog! She is shy at first but once comfortable, her tail just starts wagging! She can be a little bit head shy, so we don't recommend young kids. She has also never been around kids. She will alert bark, bark to greet people, bark when she sees a squirrel, bark at outdoor noises...she has very keen hearing! She is simply communicating and telling you what is going on. She is like the evening news giving updates and keeping her people informed. Typical terrier.

She loves being indoors and outdoors and is respectful of her environment. She is not a digger but could be an escape artist given the chance so a secure fence/gate is a must, and she should always be secured when you open the front door. She is good with other dogs but not bossy ones. She would love to be THE DOG in the family but does well with smaller non-alpha dogs. She absolutely loves her people, and her cute tail wagging turns into full body wagging with joy when her peeps are nearby. She will join you on the couch and sit right beside you. She will also run around the yard, play with her toys and go for walks. Although she is around 8 yrs. old, she is still spry and active.

Hope you are able to come meet her at the adoption event!
