You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm Apple Jacks, a 2.5 year old male terrier mix. I get a lot of people asking if I'm part corgi because of my short stocky build but your guess is as good as mine! I am currently a little on the chunky side and weigh just over 30 pounds.
I love going on walks, playing fetch and getting chin scratches! I also enjoy playing with other dogs, as long as they aren't too pushy and know how to respect boundaries. I'm also a huge cuddle bug and one of my absolute favorite activities is just snuggling up next to my people.
I'm great with kids and take treats very gently. I'm also good with cats, and have learned that one of the cats in my foster home prefers to be left alone and the other is okay for me to engage in gentle play with. I have excellent leash manners on walks and will stay right by your side.
I've been working on some basic training, including house training, and have been making excellent progress. As far as crates, I'm great if someone is in the room with me but tend to get a bit anxious when left alone and will bark for a while if everyone leaves, so I'm hoping my new family is willing to be patient while I work on staying calm when I'm wondering where everyone is.
If you're looking for a sweet laid back buddy to add to your family, apply to meet me! https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
