Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Rockaway, New Jersey

Sable is a tiny 3-year-old, 9 lb terrier mix who was rescued from Texas and is now safe with us. We don’t know what her past looked like, but it’s clear she’s still learning to feel comfortable in new situations. She can be a little nervous with new people and environments at first, but once she settles in, her incredibly sweet nature shines through.

Sable loves other dogs and really looks to them for comfort and confidence. Because of that, she would do best in a home with another small dog to help her feel safe and continue to come out of her shell. She is gentle, quiet, and just needs a little patience and understanding to truly blossom.

She is likely fine with cats, and is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines.
