1.5 years | ~22 pounds | Terrier mix | Spayed | Fostered in Hornell, NY

Poppy is a small pup from Georgia who's faced a bit of a rough life being dumped and left behind, but she's the happiest and most loving little girl even through all the tragedy and turmoil.

With her thick soft coat, she is LOVING the New York winter! Poppy loves the outdoors, playing with sticks, and getting pets from humans of all sizes!

A few highlights about Poppy:

• Does great on a leash
• Wonderful with children
• Loves other dogs - would do great with a canine companion or as a singleton
• Doesn't bother cats
• Incredibly playful, and equally happy to lie down and nap on the couch with you
• Will happily be your little shadow

Things Poppy is working on:

• Doing well learning to potty outside
• Doesn't love her crate if you leave, but sleeps well in it all night long
• A little bit jumpy since she's still a young pup, but redirects wonderfully

Poppy will do fantastic in a home with humans ready to keep a consistent schedule, take regular walks, and give unlimited scritches and kisses!
