• More people‑oriented or independent? Both – Loves when we’re around and so happy to see us, but also is very good left alone while we do stuff around the house
• How do they handle new situations? Great! Was nervous for the first few hours, but quickly warmed up and her personality is shining through!

• How are they with people (adults/kids/new people)? Great, she is so gentle by nature.
• How are they with other dogs? Unknown
• Cats or other animals (if known)? Unknown
• Behavior when left alone or when guests visit: Immediately friendly to new people (rolled over for belly rubs immediately) and no issues when left alone.

• Potty trained? Yes
• Crate trained? Yes
• Leash skills: Good, but skiddish crossing the street in NYC so I have had to pick her up to make sure she gets across safely.

🌞 Daily Life
• Typical day with you: Wake up around 7am, go outside for pee/poop/walk, eat breakfast, play/sleep until ~12pm then another quick walk, then more play/sleep, another walk before dinner, dinner ~6pm, quick walk before bed, bedtime around 9/10pm.
• Exercise needs: She is small and older, so we’ve just been taking her for 10-15 minute walks multiple times a day. She has very low exercise needs.
• Favorite activities or toys: Snuggling on the couch, playing, sleeping
🌱 Growth Areas
• Anything they’re still working on? I think she has a small bladder so we keep a pee pad in the play pen for when if she needs to go.
• What helps them succeed? Nothing noticed.

• Best type of household (active, moderate, calm): Calm/Moderate
• What kind of adopter would be the best match? Someone looking for a gentle, quiet, older dog to love and nurture. She is the absolute sweetest pup.

Polly is taking eye-drop medicine for her dry eyes, it's easy to administer. She perfectly embodies a little old lady and is so happy to see her people!
