Baby is a nine year old girl who was surrendered when her owner could no longer take care of her. She is a sweet dog who acts much younger than her chronological age.
Baby loves to lean in and receive petting. She will be a lap dog if allowed! Her leash skills are a bit rusty since she spent a great deal of time running in a fenced in yard. She is learning that skill, however, and enjoys her walks with all the different scents. She will play fetch for a bit before she leans in for more petting.
Her owner said that she lived with teenagers, and she appears to be cat and dog social. At this point she has some skin issues (allergies) that are being treated and she is responding well.
Baby would be a wonderful addition to any family that is looking for a settled dog but one that is still active and willing to participate in their life.
The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
