Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Billie is resilient, affectionate, and full of quiet strength — the kind of dog whose story stays with you long after you meet her. She has soft, expressive eyes and a gentle presence that makes it impossible not to root for her. Despite everything she’s been through, Billie is deeply loving and eager to connect, choosing trust again and again.

Approximately 1 year old, Billie was found on a highway median beside a deceased dog, suffering from demodectic mange and visible injuries. When her finder called out to her, Billie didn’t hesitate — she ran straight into the car, as if she knew help had finally arrived. Since that day, she has received consistent care, healing not only physically but emotionally as well, learning what it means to be safe and loved.

Billie is incredibly people-oriented and adores human companionship. She’s attentive, affectionate, and eager to please, making her a joy to train. She’s food-motivated, smart, and learning quickly, and while she can be excited and playful, she also knows how to settle and relax when it’s time to wind down. She’s crate trained and uses her crate as a safe, cozy space, and she’s nearly fully potty trained.

She does well with male dogs and enjoys playful interactions, though she can be selective with female dogs and would benefit from thoughtful introductions and a structured environment. Billie would also be happiest in a home without cats, as she has a strong interest in chasing them.

Sweet, loyal, and full of potential, Billie is the kind of dog who will thrive with consistency, kindness, and someone willing to meet her with patience and love. She’s already come so far — and she’s ready for the next chapter of her life to begin.
