Reese was released by his owner to rescue. He gave no reason why .
Reese is full grown at 10pds. He has the scruffy coat of fur that makes his look more adorable. He really enjoys being petted and close to his humans. Reese has really enjoyed meeting new people but we aren't sure how well he would do with small active children. Sometimes the smaller dogs are scared of smaller ones under school age. We will update his bio as we learn more. So far we have learned that he likes most dogs except the really large ones. He loves squeaky toys and his small Nylabones. He will chase a ball if thrown but we can't guarantee he will bring it back. Reese will bark at them and try to act tough. We haven't cat tested him but can do so if requested. Reese has been great crated. While housebreaking him he wears a belly band until we are confident he has accomplished this skill. The belly band helps ensure he can't mark and we will send you home with one. He seems to really enjoy going for walks in his cute little harness which we will send home with him when he is adopted. You will have a 2 week trial to ensure your happiness and his. Fill out the application to adopt this little guy fast!!! Our small dogs get adopted quickly.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
