Meet Gable!

Gable is an adorable 1–2-year-old, 21-pound scruffy little terrier with a wonderful personality. He’s friendly, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and has been a model camper here at the rescue.

Gable was found running loose in the Brownsville area of deep South Texas...not neutered, with no collar, tags, or microchip. He was also heartworm positive and has since been treated. Unfortunately, heartworm disease is about as common as fleas in deep South Texas, but Gable is doing great and ready for his next chapter.

I can see this sweet boy fitting into just about any family setting. He’s social, easygoing, and just an all-around nice little dog who deserves a family of his own.

Gable is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available with approved application and confirmed adoption. His adoption fee is $325.
