DESCRIPTION
Hobbes is an endearing 8‐year‐old pup weighing 11.2 pounds, and he's still hoping to find a loving home. His adoption fee is $300. He came to us from a local animal control after being found as a stray, and despite whatever he's been through, he has remained a gentle, friendly little guy who gets along wonderfully with the other dogs here.
Our veterinary team examined him after noticing some concern with his back legs. Their findings noted weight‐bearing hindlimb lameness, and they recommended X‐rays of the hind limbs and pelvis to evaluate for possible old injuries. Even so, Hobbes gets around well, shows no signs of pain, and does not appear to need any further care at this time. He's a resilient boy who doesn't let a past injury slow him down.
Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.
Upon intake, every animal receives:
Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip
All age‐appropriate vaccinations
Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)
Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption
Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
If you'd like to meet Hobbes or learn more about him, I'm here to help. He's a sweet, steady companion who deserves a soft place to land. 🐾✨
