Meet Fig!

Fig is a 3 year old male scruffy Terrier mix weighing about 24lbs. He is an absolute sweetheart who has quickly become a wonderful house companion. He is doing very well with potty training and seems to have it pretty much figured out.

One of Fig's standout qualities is just how quiet and easygoing he is. He is virtually silent--even when the neighbor's very vocal dog is doing its best to get a response from him! He is a true velcro pup who loves being near his person. He'll happily shadow you from room to room and prefers to be wherever his favorite human is. And when you give him attention, be prepared for the cutest response: Fig will often immediately roll onto his back for belly rubs instead of showing off any tricks. 😂

He hasn't learned many commands yet, but he has plenty of time to work on those. Right now, he's much more interested in cuddling, getting belly rubs, and being close to his people.

Fig mostly ignores the cat and has shown very little interest beyond the occasional sniff. He isn't a fan of the leash yet, so walks aren't currently his favorite activity. He would likely do best with someone who can patiently help him build confidence and learn that the leash can be a good thing.
