Hi everyone, my name is Callie and I’m looking for my best friend

I’m an 8-month-old terrier mix (yes, the beard is real) and about 14 lbs of sweetness.

I didn’t have the easiest start in life, but you’d never know it by how far I’ve come. In my foster home, I’ve learned how to be part of a family—and it turns out I really love it here.

I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but I warm up quickly and once I do, I’m affectionate, gentle, and love being close to my person. I’m the kind of dog who will happily curl up next to you on the couch or sleep in bed with you at night.

I live with another dog and we get along great, and I’ve also done well with a respectful 4-year-old child who gave me time to feel comfortable. Now we play together and have so much fun! I even get along well with cats!

I would do best in a home that will give me a little time to settle in and continue building confidence—but I’m already well on my way and just need someone to keep showing me the good life.
