For eight long days, this little cream-colored sweetheart wandered the streets alone. No soft bed. No steady meals. No one to whisper that he was safe.

And then... he was gently trapped.

What happened next tells you everything you need to know about him.

Within minutes of being caught, this almost three-year-old boy was giving kisses, leaning in for pets, and begging for attention. No fear. No hesitation. Just pure love. After everything he'd been through, all he wanted was people.

And that is who he is at his core -- a total people dog.

He doesn't just like human company. He needs it. He melts into your hands. He rests his head on your arm. He looks up at you like you are his whole world. Because to him, you are.

Now safe and off the streets, he's ready for the life he was always meant to have:
* A warm lap
* A soft blanket
* A home where he never has to wonder if he belongs

He's still young -- playful, affectionate, and so eager to bond. He would thrive in a home where he can be someone's shadow, couch companion, and loyal little sidekick.

After surviving on his own for eight days, he's done being alone.

**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange that appointment. Please see the link above to apply.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs:

Puppies under 1 year - $300-$350
Adult dogs (1 - 7 years) - $250
Seniors (8 years and older) - $200
Bulldogs, Standard Poodles and Dachshunds $350


Cats:

Adults (1 year and older) - 1 for $125 / 2 for $200
Kittens (under 1 year) - 1 for $175 / 2 for $225

For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery.
