Ursa recently came into the care of FDHS as part of a transfer from Paulding County Dog Warden after a large fire that involved several dogs. She's still very new to shelter life and is taking her time decompressing and adjusting to all the changes around her.
Ursa is the smallest of the group, with the most dainty little legs and big radar ears that are always on alert. She's understandably nervous right now, but she doesn't seem to mind being held and has shown glimpses of a playful, curious side. Of all the dogs in her group, she's often the first to engage in gentle play once she feels a bit safer.
Ursa is still settling in, and we'll be updating her description as we get to know her better and watch her personality start to shine. She is officially accepting applications to find her forever family and a home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace.
