6 month old male • Wire Haired Hypo-allergenic Terrier Mix • 14lbs

Sadly Modelo lost the only family he had known when they were forced to give up their dogs.

In his foster home, we have seen this shy boy show his very sweet side after a few days of watching the family dynamic. He likes playing with playful, calm dogs. He can handle himself around any size dog, but is most used to being around dogs his own size, and has been fine around cats!

Little Modelo warms up quickly once he has built trust with new people.

3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home

Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time.
