Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Cornflake is a total sweetheart with a gentle, easygoing personality. He is 6 months old and weighs about 8 pounds. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and people, making him a great fit for many types of homes. He’s doing very well with potty training and has only had a few accidents so far.

Cornflake sleeps quietly in his crate at night without making a peep and spends most of his day happily relaxing. He enjoys playing in the yard with other dogs and then coming inside for a cozy nap, so his overall energy level is on the lower side.

Like many young pups, he’s still learning a few manners. He sometimes walks between your feet and may jump up on your legs when he’s excited, but he’s already making progress with training.

One of Cornflake’s favorite things in the world is being held. He loves to be cradled like a little baby and will happily snuggle into your neck for cuddles. He is a loving, affectionate little guy who will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
